Leandro Lazzari

Born in Italy in 2001, Leandro Lazzari studied the oboe at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz in Basel with Prof Emanuel Abbühl, gaining his masters at the University for Music in Hannover with the help of Prof Kai Frömbgen. He won first prize at the 2022 »Giuseppe Ferlendis« International Competition and has performed with renowned orchestras including the Teatro dell'opera di Roma, Teatro San Carlo, Teatro alla Scala, and Haydn Foundation's orchestras, the »La Toscanini« orchestra and Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, with leading conductors including Daniele Gatti, Zubin Mehta, Simone Young, Andres Orozco Estrada and Jonathan Nott, and now he's joined the Frankfurt Opern and Museumsorchester.
