Alexander Boukikov

Alexander Boukikov was born in Leicester in 1999 and played with the Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra before studying at the Royal College of Music in London with Jeffrey Bryant, John Ryan, Kira Doherty and Tim Jones, and playing with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra and London Philharmonic. He has been studying for his masters with Professor Christian Lampert at the University for Arts in Bern since 2022. He’s a regular guest with orchestras including the Philharmonia, the Bergen Philharmonic and Royal Scottish National Orchestra, with whom he has also recorded music for films and video games. Alexander Boukikov enjoys playing as a soloist and chamber musician, most recently the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss and Ruth Gipps concertos. He was under contract to Saarländ’s State Orchestra in 2023/24 before being engaged by the Orchestre National de Lille and joins the Frankfurt Opern and Museumsorchester, once more as solo horn, in September 2024.
