Madrid born clarinettist Ramón Femenía Martínez studied with Francisco Gil, José Dávila and then Justo Sanz. He was then taught by people including Prof Norbert Kaiser at the State University for Music and the Performing Arts in Stuttgart, which he joined in 2020. He grew passionate about orchestral music while a member of the Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. He has spent time playing with the Staatsorchester in Stuttgart and the SWR Sinfonieorchester and apprenticed to the Stuttgart Philharmonic from 2022 - 2023. He joined the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester in the 2023/24 season for a try-out year.
