Was born in Berlin and comes from a musical family, her mother plays the violin, her father's a cellist with the Berlin Philharmonic. She was five years old when her aunt gave her her first violin lesson. She carried on her with her studies before changing to the viola, being taught by Esther van Stralen in Bremen and Diemut Poppen in Detmold. Her studies were rounded off by attending masterclasses held by people including Wilfried Strehle, Hartmut Rohde, Menahem Pressler and Arnold Steinhardt. She passed her diploma with flying colours in 2011, then spent a two year scholarship with the Bamberg Symphony's Orchester Academy. She was also invited to perform with leading orchestras including the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra Mozart Bologna under Claudio Abbado, the Berlin Philharmonic and hr(Hessen Radio)-Sinfonieorchester. She has been a member of the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester since 2013.
