Olga Yuchanan was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and started learning to play the violin as a child. Her family moved to Germany in 2001, the year she began studying at the University for Music in Nürnberg. She has been deputy leader of the second violins at the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester since 2006.
