Dorothee Plum studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama London with Prof. Yfrah Neaman from 1992 – 1995 before studying with Prof. Ilan Gronich at the University of Arts in Berlin, where she graduated in 1998. She was a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. Dorothee Plum performed with the Gürzenich Orchester in Cologne from 1998 – 2000 and has been a member of the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester since 2000.
