Asmik Grigorian had to cancel the recital she was supposed to sing on June 3 2025, but we are delighted to have been able to replace her the wonderful Marina Rebeka, and her pianist Mzia Bakhturidze.
Don't miss the chance of hearing Marina Rebeka, a world star, in recital. Since making her breakthrough at the 2009 Salzburg Festival this Latvian soprano appears regularly at leading houses around the world including the Met in New York, La Scala Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Vienna State Opera and Zurich Opera. With conductors including Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Antonio Pappano and Yannick Nézet-Séguin she has built up a repertoire that ranges from the baroque, belcanto and Verdi, to Tchaikovsky and Britten. Many of her recordings for companies including Warner Classics, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca and BR Klassik, have won prizes, and she's well known for coming up with exciting programmes for concerts and recitals.
