This internationally sought-after Italian tenor is back in Frankfurt, where he thrilled audiences with Luigi (Il tabarro / Il trittico), Pollione (Norma) and Cavaradossi (Tosca), to sing Radamès in this new production of Aida. Recent engagements have included Calaf (Turandot) at Cologne Opera and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Manrico (Il trovatore) at Zurich Opera and Covent Garden in London and Cavaradossi, which he just stepped in to sing at the Semperoper in Dresden, at the Vienna State Opera and Canadian Opera Company in Toronto. Future plans include Il trittico at the Hamburg State Opera, Verdi’s Requiem with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the Royal Albert Hall in London and Calaf at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels. He has sung Radamès at the Arena di Verona, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and opera houses in Hamburg, Dresden, Naples and Sydney, Enzo Grimaldo (La Gioconda) in Brussels, the Liceu in Barcelona and Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) in Hamburg, Renato Des Grieux (Manon Lescaut) at de Nationale Opera Amsterdam and Michailowski Theater in St. Petersburg, Don Alvaro (La forza del destino) at Cologne Opera and the Bayerische Staatsoper, Riccardo (Un ballo in Maschera) at the Wiesbaden May Festival, Andrea Chénier and Cavaradossi in Munich, Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana) in Dresden and La Scala Milan and Manrico at the Staatsoper Berlin.
