The young soprano Johanna Greulich was born in Hannover and studied in Frankfurt am Main and Basel. She won special prizes for the interpretation of contemporary works at the 2011 International Hilde Zadek singing competition in Vienna and 2013 Concours Suisse Ernst Haefliger in Bern. She enjoyed great success in productions of contemporary music at theatres in places including Mannheim, Munich, Darmstadt, Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Frankfurt, Bern and Wien and classic opera and operetta repertoire at opera houses in Heidelberg, Bern, Chur and Lucerne.  What she loves most is combiining contemporary and classical music with Performance. She teaches at the State University for Music & the Performing arts in Stuttgart.
