This Polish singer studied at the Chopin Conservatoire in Warsaw and rounded off his training at the National Opera in Warsaw's Opera Studio. Engagements during the 2024/25 season include his debuts at Oper Frankfurt, singing Unulfo in the first revival of this Claus Guth production of Rodelinda, Oper Graz for Oberon in Britten's A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the Royal Opera in Versailles for La Virtù in Vivaldi's La Senna festeggiante, Farnace in Mozart's Mitridate, re di Ponto) under Philippe Jaroussky with Capella Cracoviensis, Cyrus (Handel's Belshazzar) with L’Arpeggiata, Unulfo with Lira d’Orfeo at the Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and Musiktheater an der Wien, where he sang in Claus Guth's production of Saul and his return to the Handel festivals in Karlsruhe and Halle, where he sang (Siroe) and, in Halle, (Amadigi di Gaula), and where other roles in the past have included Cleofe (La Resurrezione) and Idilberto (Lotario, available on CD). Other engagements have taken him to the National Opera in Sofia, the Olympia Music Theatre in Athen, Musikverein in Vienna, the Beethoven Orchestra in Bonn and Handel Festival in Göttingen, where roles have included Porsenna and Bacchus in Johann Joseph Fux's Costanza e fortezza and La corona d’Arianna; both recorded for CD. You can also hear him as Nino in Stradella's Il Trespolo tutore, which was nominated for the 2020 German Recording Critics's prize. His wide and varied repertoire includes the title roles in Eötvös‘ Radames and Cavalli's Giasone, Tamerlano in Vivaldi's Bajazet and Handel's Bertarido (Rodelinda), Tolomeo (Giulio Cesare) and Anastasio (Giustino). He has worked with conductors including Christina Pluhar, George Petrou and Christopher Moulds
