Claudia Dresel studied at the University for Music and Theater in Hannover with Prof. Johannes Peitz and the Franz Liszt University for Music in Weimar with Prof. Martin Spangenberg, and was taught privately by Til Renner, solo clarinet at the NDR Radio Philharmonic in Hannover. She has been a solo clarinettist with the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester since February 2015, a post she has held at the Duisburg Philharmonic, the Staatsorchester Stuttgart, hr(Hessen Radio)-Sinfonieorchester and Staatskapelle in Dresden. She is also in demand for chamber music work and as a soloist with ensembles and orchestras.
