Hyoeun Kim

She was born in Seoul where she studied the piano before joining Stefan Blunier's classes at Mannheim's State University for Music and the Performing Arts, where she's currently qualifying for her Master of Music. She has appeared with various orchestras in Germany including the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim, with the Württemberg Philharmonie in Reutlingen, the Ensemble Modern and at the Pfalztheater-Kaiserslautern. She was chosen to join the German Music Council's masterclasses where she worked with conductors including Will Humburg and Rainer Mühlbach, Cornelius Meister, Andreas Spering and Johannes Klumpp. She worked as a soloists's coach at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim and worked for Theater Heidelberg. This season she conducts an opera - Anna Frank's Diary - for the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern.
